The XIth Eucarpia Meeting on Genetics and Breeding of Cucurbitaceae 2016 was held on
July 24-28, 2016 in Warsaw, Poland. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all the participants, contributors, and sponsors for making it such a great event. We hope to meet you all again, including our missing colleagues, during the future cucurbits-related occassions, to discuss the science and enjoy the company.

The EUCARPIA Cucurbitaceae meeting is organized every four years in Europe, but interlaced every two years with Cucurbitaceae conference held in the USA. It aims to bring together researchers and breeders involved in genetics and improvement of Cucurbitaceae crops to share advancements in a variety of interdisciplinary topics:
